S’mores Bars

Prep Time: 15 minutes. Cook Time: 35 minutes Total Time: 50 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup butter

  • 2 cups flour

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 1.5 cups brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 cups marshmallow fluff

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F

  2. Line 9X13 pan with parchment paper

  3. In medium sized bowl, whisk flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder and salt

  4. In mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. About 2 minutes

  5. Beat in eggs, one at a time until combined

  6. Add vanilla

  7. On low speed, slowly add flour mixture until combined

  8. Divide dough in half

  9. Firmly press half the dough into bottom of parchment lined pan.

  10. On top of the dough, spread the marshmallow fluff into an even layer

  11. Evenly sprinkle milk chocolate chips over the marshmallow fluff

  12. Crumble up the remaining half of the dough, in clumps, over the top. Do not worry about not covering the whole top . Marshmallow and chocolate chips should show through

  13. Bake 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and melty

  14. Place the pan on a wire rack and cool completely to room temperature

  15. Remove from pan and cut into squares. They will be easier to cut after being in the refrigerator for a couple hours
